ASAP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, has been released temporarily from jail today after being accused of assaulting a 19-year-old man.
Rocky, his crew along with his bodyguard were touring Stockholm after performing at Le Zenith on June 27, 2019 in Paris when the incident happened.
ASAP and his companions pleaded not guilty in connection with assault case and said they acted in self-defense.
Awaiting a verdict, which is expected August 14, the rapper took to social media to thank his fans on Friday after his release.
President Trump, who had weighed in to support the Grammy-nominated recording artist, tweeted:
